The ecosert Dee Estuary Partnership Region The area covered by the DEP extends from Wirral in the north through Ellesmere Port and down to the Shropshire border of Chester District. To the east it follows Chester’s border along the Sandstone Ridge and on it’s western side follows the border with Wales, much of this area falling within the catchment of the River Dee.
